Trachycarpus Fortunei - Chusan Palm
Its origin unknown due to its widespread cultivation, and hardiness, Trachycarpus Fortunei forms a single stemmed trunk with an evergreen head of dark green fan shaped highly lobed leaves to around 75 cm in length.
Small yellow flowers are formed in maturity on hanging panicles up to 60 cm long. Male and Female plants must be grown to produce fruits.
Will grow to around 20 meters tall with a spread of 2,5 meters.
Fully hardy to -15C and under.
