Carrion Plant Succulent
Stapelia Leendertziae is native to the mountains of northeastern Swaziland. An unusual Stapelia as it produces relatively large flowers compared to other species.
It grows with quadrangular succulent stems, ultimately up to 30 cm in height, spreading over time.
Bell shaped, deep red to dark purple flowers are produced when mature up to 12 cm long. One of the more smelly carrion plants. It is widely grown in cultivation but uncommon in the wild.
