A clump forming perennial native to New Zealand with lance shaped leaves up to 3m long when mature. The cultivar 'Purpureum' grows with marroon red leaves. Phormiums make a fantastic architectural plant!
Produces panicles of dull red flowers to around 4 meters in height in the summer months.
Makes an amazing architectural plant.
