Pachypodium Horombense - Madagascar Pachycaul Succulent
This truly original succulent comes from the island of Madagascar off the East coast of Mozambique. Madagascar has evolved on its own for millions of years, even its dinosaur fossils are found nowhere else.
Branching when still young, Pacypodium horombense produces a low growing plant which branches early in life. Decent sized plants can be attained from seed in a just a few years, and can grow to a maximum height of around 30 to 45 cm. Clusters of large golden yellow, flowers, are produced in summer months.
A must have plant for the succulent collection.
