An very unusual looking climbing plant, native to Central and South America with twining stem ideal for training over trellises, fences etc.
The exotic looking flowers appear in summer on a spike producing a combination of colours as they age.
They start a bright red and as they mature they go from red to orange, to yellow and to white and all are present at the same time.
A plant in flower is an impressive sight.
Minimum Temperatures around 10°C.
