Mentha Requienii - Corsican Mint
Mentha Requienii - Corsican Mint, is one of the smallest members of the mint family, originaly native to Corsica, Sardinia, and mainland Italy.
It is a very low-growing species from around 3 to 10cm in height, with small bright green leaves.
The whole plant is strongly aromatic with a peppermint aroma.
It produces tiny purple flowers in July and August that are insect pollinated and popular with bees.
Hardy to around -5°C.
