This spectacular mimicry Mesembryanthemum, is a native to Namibia and northern South Africa, growing with several pairs of grey or whitish angled stone shaped leaves, to a height and spread of around 10 cm.
Produces golden yellow flowers in Autumn to around 5 cm in diameter.
Slightly more tolerant of cold than many Mesembs, reportedly tolerant of sub freezing conditions for short periods, but a minimum temperature of 8°C is recommended.
