Lovage is a tall perennial berbaceous plant, which can grow to around 2 meters in height, with foliage mainly at the base.

In summer it produces large umbels of yellow green flowers.

Its leaves are great added to salads and its roots can be eaten as vegetables.

Also has medicinal uses, decoctions can be applied as an antiseptic and Lovage tea can stimulate digestion.

Fully hardy to -15C.
