These tropical plants native to southern Africa can grow up to 2m tall and has glossy oval shaped bright green leaves which often grow tendrils for climbing from the tips.

The vines will die back to form multiple tubers underground which help the plant to spread.

Large yellow and red flowers with wavy, swept-back petals appear in summer months.

Likes full sun.
Grows to a climbing height of around 2 meters.

Minimum temperature around 5°C.
