Calendula Officinalis 'Radio' is an annual producing bright orange flowers with quill-like petals, often globe-shaped until an advanced stage, when they show off their sunny yellow center. The dried petals can be used as food colouring and to flavour dishes.

Grows to a flowering height of around 60cm

Remarkably easy to grow and can be simply sown where it is to flower. It is tolerant of any well-drained soil, even quite poor ones.
