Drosera Anglica - Sundew Carnivorous Plant
Known as the English or Great sundew, Drosera Anglica is a temperate species, and as such should be given a colder winter period so is ideal for growing outside. One of the most widely distributed sundews in the world, mainly in the northern hemisphere, although it does occur as far south as Japan.
Drosera Anglica flowers in the summer, 6–18 cm long stems with several white flowers to around 20 cm in diameter, which open individually. Its paddle shaped leaves are often held erect to around 10cm in length.
As with all carnivorous plants rainwater only should be used.
