Cymbopogon Flexuosus - East Indian Lemon Grass
Lemongrass is native to India and tropical Asia, with aromatic foliage, The fresh stalks and blades are used in asian cooking. Not to be confused with Thai lemongrass, (Cymbopogon Citratus), which produces bulbous stems, but is also commonly used in the same way.
Can grow up to 1 meter or more high and a spread of around 50 - 75 cm.
Semi cold tolerant, can cope with temperatures down to freezing and just below, but should be protected from hard frosts.
