Cornus Kousa Chinensis 'Milky Way' - Korean Dogwood
Cornus Kousa Chinensis is a native to Korea and Japan is a large, free-flowering deciduous small tree, with ovate leaves turning red and orange in autumn. It produces 4 petalled lime green flowers in June, opening and turning white. In late summer it produces bright red small edible fruits, similar in taste to Lychee.
Milky Way is a selected cultivar, noted for its large flowers and prolific blooming, trees can be almost completely covered with flowers!
Enjoys a fertile well drained soil.
Grows to a height of around 7 meters and a spread of around 5 meters.
