Teloxys Aristata - Sea Foam Tree
Found natively across central Asia, this everlasting plant is great dried as a filler in ornamental displays or as a model tree for dioramas and other modelling scenes, reaching around 35cm tall with highly branched stems that turn from green to red during the autumn months. Leaves are alternate, lanceolate, up to around 5cm long. The inflorescences are pyramidal in shape, with numerous tiny flowers and small prickles that lends itself well to a small tree shape.
In their native environment they are easily uprooted by strong winds in dry conditions and typically become tumbleweeds.
