Fan Aloe Succulent
This very unusual Aloe from the Western Cape of South Africa, can grow up to 4m high.
It forms a woody stem, which branches with age, after about 5 years or so, with grey green long fleshy leaves arranged in a fan formation.
It produces spikes of red flowers from each of the fans, making this a very showy species when in flower!
Contrary to most succulent and cacti plants, Aloe Plicatilis prefers a winter watering and summer dryer season.
Easy to grow.
