Agave Victoria v Reginae
This species of Agave, native to Mexico, is most striking with its compact and spherical ball of thick fleshy leaves, often varigated with geometric white streaks. Each leaf tip contains a short and sharp thorn! Generally much smaller than other Agaves, Victoria Reginae grows to around 50cm in diameter when mature.
Large flower spikes appear on mature plants.
The plants should be kept almost dry during the winter months. Only water them to prevent the roots from completely drying out.
Cold tolerant for a succulent, can withstand temperatures down to -5°C if kept dry.
