Agave Guadalajarana - Century Plant
A compact forming succulent, Agave Guadalajarana grows in rosettes around 40 to 75 cm in diameter and around 30 to 50 cm tall. Grey blue leaves form the rosettes which are wide and flat, to around 30 cm long.
The leaf margins are populated with red brown sharp spines, and tipped with a longer spine at the end of the leaf to around 3 cm long.
A very attractive Agave, although slow growing, its worth the wait!
Reportedly tolerant of temperatures down to -3°C, but a minimum winter temperature of 5°C is recommended. Likes full sun but is also tolerant of light shade. Use a well drained soil.
